Biography

Mitchell comes to The Ledger Law Firm and carries with him a colorful and robust background. After being raised on the rural PNW coast, Mitchell has lived and worked all over the country in states including Utah, Idaho, Texas, and Missouri. Mitchell also lived 3 years abroad in Ecuador, where he learned and mastered the Spanish language and began his lifelong love of exploring culture and the intrinsic similarities we all share as humans.

He has enjoyed career paths including but not limited to: beef and dairy farming, missionary work, car and technology sales, corrections and law enforcement, private security, bartending, delivery driving, home healthcare management, and commodities. During his free time, Mitchell enjoys woodsmanship, fishing, hunting, kayaking, athletics in nearly all forms, and spending time with his 2 beautiful children.

In 2020, Mitchell graduated with his J.D. at the University of Missouri in Columbia, and has practiced Personal Injury Law in Western Washington ever since. He is fluid in car-accident, dog-bite, slip-and-fall, workplace injury, and maritime injury cases. He especially enjoys arbitrations, motions practice, mediation, and pre-litigation negotiations. He shows extra care to consider what is important to his clients, outside of the financial gain at bar. Mitchell lives by the addage “Destitutus Ventis, Remos Adhibe” which means “If the wind will not serve, turn to the oars.” He believes that the true sign of character of a person is seen in their willingness to labor and serve those around them; their grit, perseverance, kindness, and overall outlook.
