Biography
Matthew Kovach is a 2004 graduate of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a bachelor’s degree in Humanities & Social Sciences. He serves as the firm’s Client Relations Manager. A dedicated professional with an unmatched work ethic, Matthew’s background includes work in the National Hockey League as well in Professional Baseball.
Matthew has also done extensive work with non-profits such as the Newport Sports Museum and has taught Sunday School at Rock Harbor Church in Costa Mesa, California since 2007.
Matthew’s daily responsibilities include working with new clients on plotting a course to reach a successful settlement on their case. Matthew works in direct support of the legal team at The Ledger Law Firm that is responsible for retaining new cases, and welcoming new clients into The Ledger Law Firm Family. He also works as a liaison between the law office and various doctors to ensure each client gets the requisite medical treatment needed as it relates to their particular case. The Ledger Law Firm works with a highly accredited network of doctors and medical professionals; Matthew is a senior member of the team in charge of bringing new doctors into the law firm’s medical network.
Matthew loves to read and lists David Halberstam as his favorite author. His legal role model is the late, great Edward Bennett Williams, and considers his Grandmother, the late Irene E. Kovach, as the single smartest person he’s ever met.
Matthew is a man of strong character, and possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills. He is often consumed by several projects in the office on a day to day basis but is never too busy to meet the needs of a new or existing client.
