Samantha Ruiz was born in Mexico but raised & educated in Southern California. She received a Degree in Business Administration from Coastline College in Fountain Valley, California. Mrs. Ruiz has worked for multi-million dollar corporations like the Walt-Disney Company and Citibank North America. Shortly after getting married, she moved to England with her husband due to his Military obligations. During that time, Mrs. Ruiz took more business courses through the University of Maryland’s Europe division. After her husband’s tour ended in England they were assigned a military station in Virginia Beach, Virginia. While living in Virginia, Mrs. Ruiz worked supervising over 75 employees for one of the biggest departments in the Navy Exchange. She has also taken several Real Estate and Property Management courses and volunteered at a local church by helping them run their non-profit consignment store.Mrs. Ruiz has recently moved back to California where her and her husband had their first child. Her dream has always been to become an Attorney so she chose to further her education and seek employment in a law firm which brought her to The Ledger Law Firm where she is currently a Legal Assistant. Mrs. Ruiz’s courage, strength and perseverance are a great reflection on her hard work and determination of becoming an attorney one day. By following her dreams, she hopes to inspire her son to go after what he wants. This summer Mrs. Ruiz will be starting the Business Management program at Pepperdine University. She gained inspiration and her passion to pursue a career in the legal field from U.S Representative Loretta Sanchez and Supreme Court Justice Sonia Soto-Mayor.
