Stefanie Cohen’s passion has always been helping those around her. She earned a bachelors of science degree in Mathematics from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. While attending Cal Poly, she was an active member of Kappa Alpha Theta and helped her sorority raise money for their philanthropy, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates Association). After graduation, Ms. Cohen continued with her education at California State University, San Marcos where she received a Single-Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics. She began teaching high school mathematics. Although Ms. Cohen enjoyed her tenure as a teacher, her passion for the law motivated her to make a career change. Ms. Cohen sought a position at The Ledger Law Firm to be a part of something she knew would contribute to the welfare of others.Ms. Cohen began working at Allergy and Asthma Prevention and Treatment Center in San Diego, where she assisted the nursing staff and helped communicate with patients. In 2012, she decided to make a change; she relocated to Orange County and began working at Ledger Law Firm. She quickly learned that working at Ledger Law Firm was a perfect career match for her, since The Firm is there for their clients and truly cares about their well being. Since joining Ledger Law firm as an assistant case manager she has been able to leverage her past experience by helping educate clients on the progress of their cases. Also her experience working in medical offices has helped her navigate the administrative processes involved with getting her clients the proper care they need. She is an advocate for her clients. Ms. Cohen’s dedication to her work and those around her make her a great fit here at Ledger Law where she continues support those in need.
